The light is visible. Looking at the work, people wonder how they expressed the sunlight. Beyond the light, there is a question about how to see things.
The artist uses primitive light and lines to understand how to see things and how to see space. "It would be better to know my intentions, but it is enough to look at my work and say 'comfortable'. It is also a wonderful value to give someone temporary comfort."
One day, the artist was surprised to see a broom standing on the wall. It seemed that the living broom saw itself as one object. "Information creates bias. Writing on the pictures by writing on the glass reduces the information so that people focus on the existence itself. Then, looking at the sunlight on the glass plate, I thought, 'Let's interpret things with the basic elements that recognize things.'"
Hwang expressed the broad lines of things as lines and created space with light. "If you have a line, the bird's eye view will be flat, but when it lights up, it gives you spatiality, time, and emotion." The artist printed the image behind the tempered glass with sandblasting. There are several layers of living pictures, LED lights, and light barriers.
Hwang's work is wonderful, like a puppy sleeping in a warm sunny living room and the shadow of the long red sun filled the living room. This is the result of carefully calculating the position of the lights, color, and light density. Visitors feel the light in the work. "At first, the window was simple, but the final film puts a living image to prepare for the actual space and virtual space."
There are no people in the virtual space in the picture, but the viewer can feel the person. "You can know enough that the person was sitting in a chair. If the door is slightly open, someone may have gone for a walk. You don't have to draw people."
